Capital City Deaf Church is a church within Capital City Church whose focus is meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs for the deaf and hard of hearing community. We are a caring congregation and we welcome you to attend!
Each Sunday the deaf and hearing of CCC come together in the main auditorium of Stuart-Hobson for worship. After worship the deaf meet in another room where the message is shared in American Sign Language.
We also have small group meetings called LifeGroups every other Saturday morning. Email cccdc@capitalcitychurchdc.org to find out more information!
Our vision is to see DC's deaf community grow strong in the knowledge of God; to live lives that are led by God and to be equipped to effectively serve others. Pastors Rocky and Cheryl Rockburn, both deaf, pastor CCDC. After 30 years of serving in various capacities in ministry, they were set in as Pastors of CCDC in 2008. They carry a huge heart for DC's deaf community and a great love for God. |
